Healthy Magazine is set to launch nationwide on newsstands in the UK and Republic of Ireland after 15 years of being exclusively sold in retail chain Holland and Barrett.
From 23 December, the women’s health and wellbeing magazine will be available on both newsstands nationwide and in Holland and Barrett’s 720 stores across the UK and Ireland.
It will be sold for an increased price of £3.20 at supermarkets as well as WH Smith.
The move coincides with the magazine’s publisher River Group launching a new website for the magazine.
The magazine recorded a circulation of 119,343 for 2013, according to ABC, and the group claims that number increased in 2014.
Chief marketing officer Lysa Hardy at NBTY, Holland & Barrett’s parent company, said: “We are really proud and excited about Healthy finally going on sale on newsstands nationwide, a magazine we originally launched in Holland and Barrett stores more than 15 years ago.
“We are confident the new distribution will help thousands more readers lead a healthier way of life.”
